Shoes after cheilectomy

Hi all from Australia Im going into cheilectomy on Monday ( rather scared) and I'm a police officer who wears boots. Anyone tell me if they have been able to wear similar boots/ shoes and if so how long after surgery

Re: Shoes after cheilectomy

I've had it done on both great toes and I can wear any shoe as long as the heel is 2" or less. And I wear cowboy boots to dance it. So, no reason why you can't wear yours. Last surgery was June 15, 2011 and I was dancing in those boots on August 5. Wore my running shoes a couple of weeks before that.

Hope this helps.
