Twitching toes?

So i broke the shaft of my 5th metatarsal about a week and a half ago. I will be nwb for about 6 weeks and everything seems to be going well so far. But there is one thing that I have noticed and I was wondering if it was normal. The muscles in my foot have been twitching for a few days now and I didn't really think anything of it since it wasnt painful and it was only every now and then. But now the muscles are twitching constantly and my pinkie toe is now twitching too. It's driving me crazy! It's still not painful, but it's really annoying and uncomfortable. Is this normal? Is there anything that I can do to reduce or stop the twitching or do I just need to ride it out?
