Tingling in BOTH feet after right ankle surgery.

I am 4 weeks post-op after a modified brostrum on my right ankle. About a week ago I started feeling tingling in the bottom of my foot but I figured it was just due to the swelling and healing from the surgery. Last night, I started getting a tingling sensation in my left foot as well. I didn't have any procedure done on that foot so of course I'm now concerned. Anyone else have this issue? I am really starting to get scared so any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Tingling in BOTH feet after right ankle surgery.

Is it tingling all over the feet or in a specific spot? I personally often get tingling in both my heels because of my severe flat feet.. I talked to my podiatrist about it and he told me that ur happens, however I don't remember what he said as to what specifically is causing it to occur.

Hope this helps.. But I would talk to the dr who is overseeing your recovery about it asap to make sure nothing serious is wrong.
