Unhappy Talus Fracture

Hi

Just need to ask if I can drive in a short distance only i.e. about 3 miles?? I'm bored.

I twisted my left ankle on Feb. 20. I've had the Xray done and the result was Fractured Talus (non-displaced). Now, i've got the Cast on my fractured ankle, and non-weight bearing for 4 weeks + elbow crutches.

I understand that I need to put pressure on the clutch pedal when driving.. Is this wrong? Would it be possible to drive for only a short distance?

Thanks. I would appreciate it if somebody out there could advice me. 😊

Re: Talus Fracture

They said you could not bear weight, then no I wouldn't drive.

Sometimes as adults we get bored, and have to live with it.
