    Exclamation gallbladder removed still have high BILIRUBIN

    its been over a month since i had my surgery to remove my gallbladder they said it was inflamed and has tons of stones and my bilirubin was twice as high after surgery the doc told me my bilirubin test shows that it went down a month later i had some chest pain went to the hospital and got blood tests done and notice my BILIRUBIN 0 - 1.2 mg/dL 2.5 H is very high is this something i should be concerned about they just did a ct scan with the contrast and says everything checks out so im wondering why my levels are on the high side

    It can take several months for it to go down for good. I would be sure to have it checked at your next physical

    thanks i also have panic attacks and take xanax i wonder if the xanax is elevating my bilirubin
