    Post Laparoscopic Pain

I'm 73 and 8 days out from laparoscopic cholecystectomy, my entire stomach was bruised afterwards, which I chaulk up to the fact I was taking baby aspirins daily. Any hoot the bruises are almost gone & the incision sites don't hurt, but I have this inside sore feeling, more sore feeling than painful, like the incisions were, it also feels like a crap, or object is there. I'm not having any digestive problems and I am eating just about anything low fat in nature. But this inside soreness kind of scares me. Let me also add, this is my first surgery ever, so I honestly have no clue as to how a person is suppose to feel.

You are bruised inside. They went in thru your belly button and reached up under your ribcage, cut it loose and pulled it down and out the belly button. All of that bruises your insides. It can take up to 6 weeks for all that to settle down. You could also still have a little of the gas they inflated you with that hasn't dissipated yet. Walking a lot will help.
