    Question Sludge in Gallbladder

Hi I am new to this forum but wanted to ask advice regarding gall stones and gallbladder issues. Last year they found that I have stones in my gallbladder. I stopped eating fatty foods, lost about 20lbs and things seemed better for a while. Now I am having issues again, they did another ultrasound and yes the stones are still there however now they mention sludge in the gallbladder. The gastrointestinal doctor said it could be the stones but since I have other symptoms he can't say for sure. Any remedies that work, I do not want surgery. Anything to help the pain? I am not sure what to do. I was hoping for any advice from anyone who has had similar issues. Any advice would be very welcomed and appreciated.
    Thank you,

Removal is the only option to take care of this. You do NOT want to end up with emergency surgery for this as that could mean a full cut which will be painful and a long physical recovery. The lap procedure is very simple and quick. Stones don't go away. They are spiney and when the gb constricts to spew the bile into your system it is very painful.Sludge will turn into more stones. A friend recently had his removed after ignoring it and it had gangrene and weighed 6 pounds. I actually know 2 people who died from ruptured gb. Please do not ignore this. You've gotten a have it out before it escalates.
