Concerned for my mother after gallbladder removal

She had it removed 15 days ago.

This past weekend on Saturday and Sunday 11 days after surgery she began having stomach discomfort large bowel movements about every hour for a few hours without having eaten very much food. The stomach discomfort would go away after the movements. The movements were solid and normal color. Temperature and blood pressure normal.

On Monday she felt better. Was doing fine.

Today Tuesday she began to have stomach discomfort again with hourly small loose bowel movements. She is extremely weak.

She has difficulty eating any type of food.

Is this normal after gallbladder removal? She seemed to be ok up until 11 days after surgery.

What is she eating? Should be no fat diet for 2-4 weeks...then slowly introduce fat back into her diet.

Mostly soups. But a few Fritos which she can't lay off of.

My concern is dehydration. She drinks water and has a bowel movement soon after.

Should be eating plain toast, plain baked chicken, veggies, plain baked potatoes, no Fritos for sure! Soup is out also as is raw salad foods. try ginger ale...

And her doctor can give her a med to help with that but probably won't if she's eating all that fat.
