Depends on the severity and length of your dehydration. For mild, short term dehydration just a few hours to a day.
It's a little more awkward with more severe/long term dehydration though. People tend to over-drink to replace lost fluids and just end up just urinating more and not actually taking any in or feeling better. It's best to drink smaller amounts often as opposite to large amounts infrequently. And try not to drink too much, surprisingly water poisoning is actually a thing (although the term "poisoning" seems incorrect to me)
