Going Crazy Over Symptoms, Help, Severe Hypochondria or Something Else??

PLEASE HELP. I am a 20 year old male and have obsessed over my health over many years. I have reached an all time low and need reassurance that my symptoms are just anxiety related. I'm starting to reach a dead end with doctors and specialists and I obsess that I have been left to suffer from my conditions without diagnosis or medical treatment or missed diagnosis. I am obsessed with and think I have glaucoma, HIV, Brugada syndrome/heart problem, optic neuritis, keratoconus, retinal tears, impending retinal detachment, ménière's disease, hearing loss. My symptoms/problems are:

    Glaucoma?

    - Slight decrease sensitivity in extreme left peripheral visual field
    - Pain when moving eyes
    - Streaking lights at night
    - Blurry vision, pinhole corrects it
    - Sometimes dim vision
    - Red eyes

    HIV?

    - Night sweats
    - Occasional lump appears in skin (once a month)
    - Fever like feeling
    - Fatigue
    - Abdominal cramps
    - Loose stools
    - A few enlarged lymph nodes
    - Blurry vision
    - Colds that now frequently transform into bacterial infections and ear infection requiring antibiotics/steroidal interventions
    - Twitching eyelid; neuropathy?

    Brugada syndrome/Problem with heart?

    - Palpitations
    - Chest pain
    - Chest tightness
    - Occasional sharp sudden adrenaline surges
    - Skipped/premature beats
    - Tachycardia

    Optic Neuritis?

    - Occasional dimming of vision in left eye with slight loss of red colours
    - Eyepain when moving eyes
    - Red eyes

    Keratoconus?

    - Blurry vision
    - Seeing double of lights at night with streaking coming from lights in each eye
    - Red eyes
    - Pain when moving eyes

    Sensorineural Hearing Loss

    - Tinnitus
    - Fluctuating hearing with sudden tinnitus
    - Tinnitus worse when clenching jaw
    - Conductive hearing loss due to ottis media but certain it is sensorineural

    Ménière's Disease

    - Vertigo
    - Tinnitus
    - Hearing loss that fluctuates especially at low frequencies

    Impending retinal detachment?

    - Floaters (been there my whole life)
    - Minor occasional spots/flashes of light (phosphenes)

I have thoroughly scoured and searched the internet for my symptoms and the outcomes, complicated associated with my symptoms and have read horror stories with these conditions which push my anxiety right up. There isn't a health forum, health resource and health webpage I have missed online now. I have read all of them often obsessively.

I have seen multiple cardiologists, electrophysiologists, neurologist for my complaints but nothing was found.

I will soon be seeing an ophthalmologist if I can convince one of my doctors for my vision related concerns and I am certain I will be diagnosed with a serious eye condition such as retinal tears, glaucoma and keratoconus. I am bracing myself for the diagnosis and this has caused my anxiety to reach an all time high. I constantly test my vision and eyes, research symptoms, treatments and patient stories and the often horrible outcomes people talk about on forums.

I have tested negative for HIV multiple items but symptoms still remain. I'm afraid I'll also loose my hearing even though doctors shrug off my symptoms.

I never get long term satisfaction following consultations and tests. Does anyone else experience these eye related symptoms on an occasional basis without anything serious? Are my listed symptoms common even without any serious disorder? Does anyone else experience these symptoms? Is it statistically possible that I have some or all these conditions? What are the chances of a retinal tear and detachment at my age? I have eye floaters and flashes of light. Is this the end of my ability to see now due to associated retinal detachments with PVD? I read a number of forums where people my age with my symptoms went to the retinal specialist/ophthalmologist where the doctor found a retinal tear and had to use a laser to seal the tear. Some of these patients then complained about permanent visual complications following photocoagulation. Anyone here been treated for retinal tears?

I have had retinal tears and it is unlikely that at your age this is what is happening.
I do want to reassure you that I have had the laser procedure about ten times now, and other than floaters my vision is just fine and I have had no longterm complications of any kind.
I sympathize with you.... you are finding symptoms in your body and you want to be sure all is well. You are tested, and then you don't seem to be satisfied to know that the tests are negative. The internet is so full of information, and that can be good, or very bad and scary.
I am betting that there are therapists who can help you with your fear. It might be a good idea to find someone in your neighborhood and make your first appointment. Be sure to ask for someone who specifically cares for people with anxiety issues.
