    Tiny lumps in mouth?

    For as long as I can remember the inside of my bottom lip has been filled with tiny lumps, that kind of resemble cellulite. They're all very mobile and painless and i just put it down to biting my inner lip as a habit. I woke up this morning with one of these lumps quite sore if pressure is applied to it, extremely hard and inflamed to a pea size, my doctors are fully booked up and I am worrying as to what this lump could be. Its very noticable, as opposed to my other lumps which are only noticeable if i stretch my lip outward;

    Have you ever talked to your dentist about this? Is he available to take a look? Usually a dentist can tell if something in the mouth is abnormal; and they have the ability to refer you to a specialist if necessary.

    Do you also have a lump or sensitive area under your chin (of the same side)?
    I get them on occasion from biting while eating.....and forget about it until I have a lump.

    I have had them twice that were connected to a cold sores and once when I had a swollen gland on the same side.
