Unhappy Could this be Giardia? Or Something Else?

I'm not sure how to start as this is my first time doing something like this. I live with pain in my upper abdomen every day that is oddly becoming severe and have had 2 surgeries (removal of my galbladder and apendix all 9 months apart from each other 2018 and 2019. I'm a month and 1 week in healing from the galbladder removal. I had polyps and my gallbladder was not working properly. However, this was not the cause of the pain that's been in my diaphragm since July 2016. The last day I was able to left a single weight or do a single sit up or pull up ever again. The last day I was ever able to touch a single spicy food or alcohol drink again!

In 2012, I started working out. My goal was to go from skinny to a medium size build. I worked out daily. Cardio, Weights, wall climbing, to enjoying outdoor activities eating and having a drink here and there. In 2013, I started to get odd pains in my stomach every now and then, but nothing out of the ordinary aside from occassional heartburn. In 2014 it started to get a little annoying so my stomach doctor at the time preferred I have endoscopy done and the results were quite significant. I had erosions in my stomach, basically small ulcers and a hiatal hernia that was small. I was warned that if I did not get it fixed, it would get worse within time and prevent me from being active anymore. But I didn't listen to it. I was taking vitamins and creatine to help me get bigger, and I kept up with here and their ant-acid medicines off and on when I needed it. In 2015, I started to feel constant burning in my stomach (acid) but nothing that would stop me from having a drink or eating what I wanted. I was now taking Dexilant (60MG). a Pro pump inhibitor to help me fight the acid burning. I went from 130 to 160lbs in weight gain and felt good most days with occasional burning after a fat meal or drinking. I traveled only to (NY, NJ, Canada, Las Vegas, Portland, LA, and Sandiego) as I loved food and trying new places. In 2016, I started to get sick. Burning was getting worse (Heart Burn) but I kept the tums and was working out still. July 2016, I had my last work out and went out stairs to rest. I had a bawl movement and noticed this foul smell has been off and on for a year or so. None the less, I ate chicken and rice with my favorite tobasco sauce. I got up and felt a sharp pain in my diaphram that would not let me take a deep breath. after 40 mins, it was so bad I was taken by ambulance to the ER (Kaiser). They treated me with lorazepam and antacids. I was in the ER with that pain off and on every other day, even weekends. That smell in my stool didn't go away. I saw every doctor for the pain in my stomach. Another endoscopy was performed again. This time they found 12 small erosins in my stomach and the hiatal hernia and proscribed meds. The whole half 0f 2016, I was in the ER over and over again. I saw nurologists, I saw stomach specialists, neurologists, CT3'scans, of the stomach, chest, 3 times. I had 2-3 endoscopy's and and a colonoscopy and nothing was found. My liver enzymes were started to climb and they were not able to figure out what was wrong with me. I started to feel fatigued, sick, dizzy, malnourish. I could not eat anymore without my stomach hurting. They found Giardia at the end of 2017. They treated it, but my stomachaches have not gone away. I started having pain in the center of my abodmen like a stabbing pain if I dare touch wine or sparkling water. LIke a spasm. I get pain so bad in my upper diaphgram that sometimes I can't breathe due to the pain. My pain is to the left right below the breast bone. It hurts to the touch if I do any type of exercise, it will spasm causing me to jump or yell ouch! I cannot use my abdomen for anything because I will be in dead pain. It will feel as if i did a 100 sit-ups. I can't go without eating or if I eat something heavy I will be in dying bad pain.

I've seen a heart doctor and they say its not my heart. I've seen a pain specialist at Stanford medical center and they want to try numbing the area, but that's not helped in the past. I've lost two organs and my problem is not getting better. I now weight 153lbs. I can't eat, I can't do much without this dibilitating pain in my stomach.

Forgive my long text, but I hope someone can help me shed some light on what I'm going through...

Thank you for reading my post!

Re: Could this be Giardia? Or Something Else?

    Dear Colby,

Wow that is a lot to go through!

My body also cannot tolerate alcohol or spicy food. Hon, that is to your benefit.

    Those are not health foods!

Really, hon work with your diet.
And, your anxiety level needs to come down. That you know what you did that caused this situation means you know what you need to change.

Now you need to concentrate on what you can eat for health.

Give your body time to recover. It has not been that long since the gall bladder surgery. Not every person bounces back right away.

    Digestion also requires calming ourselves.
You can get through this and get to a healthier place.
