Need help!: Mysterious illness/syndrome (lots of pain)
About six years ago, I had a mild concussion and that was when I started experiencing sporadic memory loss, constant headache, blurry vision, and short attention span. I also cannot stand having multiple sounds at the same time and get dizzy if I bend or exercise. Since two years ago, I have had strong pain on my left arm and shoulder; someday the pain is better but someday it is so painful to the point that I could not move my arm at all. Later on, I started having occasional sharp pain going from one of my legs through my groin to the other side of lower back.
I was diagnosed with Parsonage-Turner Syndrome (PTS) by my family doctor and specialist for my left arm pain. However, I was told that the pain should go away no later than 2 years and yet the pain is still here. I have met with many other doctors and specialists but none of them could give a diagnosis. I completed a stress test for my dizziness; I got my eyes checked for blurry vision; I had all types of blood work, MRI, CT scan, X-ray, and ultrasound done but none of the tests showed an abnormality. I went to physiotherapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic, but none of these therapies can relieve my pain or symptoms. I desperately need help that can possibly get me a proper diagnosis and/or treatment! Any help is most appreciated! Thank you.
