My Mom accidentally breathed in a lot of bleach.

My mom was cleaning when she accidentally breathed in a lot of bleach and suddenly coughed a lot. We gave her water to calm the cough down, it did a little something (Her cough did slow down) but she said that her chest felt heavy. It's been a while now since she inhaled bleach and it seems like she's okay now.

But for precautionary measures, what should we do? Do we go for a check-up? Are there any home-remedies? (Would much prefer this).

Did she mix the bleach with anything else, or was it bleach only Or a product that had bleach in it?

So, basicallg that while she was cleaning, the fumes from the bleach made her cough?

If she breathed in only bleach fumes, the best thing is to get into fresh air or in a well ventilated area.

    Does she have asthma?

Vick's VapoRub is calming for the lungs. Also, pour a little Campho-Phenique on a hankie or kleenex and that is also soothing for the lungs. Both are used for coughs from colds, etc.
