    Involuntary movements

When I initiate voluntary movements I feel like I lose control over the movement and have trouble stopping. The more I try to move the worse it gets. It turns into painful, intense repetitive movements and muscle contractions that sometimes affect my whole body but my hands are the worst.

This has gradually gotten worse over the last two years. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I have absolutely no idea where to begin and feel like I must be going crazy. Is this likely neurological? Muscular?

I am currently trying to get in to see a neurologist but the wait is very long and Iím not sure if Iím even going to the right place.
