blood while going to the bathroom.. urgent!

I just went to the bathroom and there was a whole lot of blood. I just called my on call dr and he was like 'probably a hemmoroid' but I don't have any pain down there... I do have a very bad stomach ache and feel very nauseated. I'm wondering if it is a UTI since I have been having trouble peeing as of late. I am concerned mainly because of the amount of blood, it looked like I was on day 2 of my period (very heavy) which I am not... and I am not bleeding from there.

I have been having major issues with my anxiety as of late, so I don't know if that would affect it or not.

Considering your anxiety and concern, as well as the amount of blood, you may want to go to the emergency room. On the other hand, you may want to see if it occurs again and as significant and your first. Also, do you feel weak, lightheaded, etc? Was the blood bright red? This could be an internal hemorrhoid, but it also could be something else.

I used to have a lot of UTIs when I was younger. When they get bad, you can have quite a bit of bleeding and also a stomach ache and nausea. Are you running fever? The only way to get rid of a bad UTI is to go the your doctor and get an antibiotic. Otherwise, you're risking the infection going into your kidneys. If the blood is coming from your rectum, I suppose it could be hemmoroid because they can certainly bleed a lot. But either way, you need to see a doctor soon.

I was going to the dr today but the blood has been less. Today I haven't had any blood, but still have a stomachache, haven't eaten all day and feel really worn out. Also my back hurts, but sometimes that happens after a long car ride... I just don't want to go to the dr again.. I've been so much lately!

Look, you could have something else going on. With the stomach pain, you could be dealing with an ulcer (bleeding) or something else. You may not want to go to the doctor, but not going to the doctor could make this situation worse. ALso, with you "feeling really worn" it could be a significant sign of anemia due to the gastrointestinal bleeding that you have going on. Please, go see the doc.

Yeah.. I just feel like I'm a hypercondriact and everything that happens I go to the dr.. you know? It hasn't happened today, but if it does again, I will def go to the dr. I'm planning on calling tomorrow.
