Stomach issues

Hello everyone, Im not sure if this is the correct board but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is my problem. For the past three or four days ive been feeling a little sick to my stomach, and been a little constipated (sorry to have to share that). This morning when i had to go to the restroom, my pee was a brownish color. Is this all because of the constipation or is something else wrong? Why might I be constipated? Ive never really had a problem like this before and that is why I am turning to here.
I tend to get a little panicy when it comes to my body. Right now I am wondering if I had a UTI that went unnoticed or if something seriously is wrong.
Any thoughts would help. I do plan to go see a doctor if this lasts much longer but I dont always get the free time to go see one. Thank you for anything you can tell me.

Re: Stomach issues

Medications (like pain meds) can cause constipation, as can improper diet (not enough fiber) and stress. Making sure to drink a lot of water and eat a lot of foods with fiber can help.

The browinsh pee could be somewhat related to a kidney or bladder infection, it's hard to say without a trip to the doctor. I'd say make an appointment.

Re: Stomach issues

Have you changed your diet at all? Certain foods, depending how much or how little of them you eat, can effect your BMs!

I'm also a bit panicy about my health. I've recently decided to try a colon cleansing product! It's only the 4th day and already that heavy feeling in my stomach has lessened.

Maybe in your case something isn't necessarily wrong..maybe you just need a good interior cleaning??

The color of your pee could also be effected by certain foods, or even vitamins.

Get tested for a UTI just in case. Even though there may not be pain, the discoloration could be blood in your urine. So head to a doctor just in case... better safe than sorry. And better to catch a UTI, or something more serious, before things get worse. In the mean time, try adding some more fiber to your diet and drink alot of water.

Good luck!

Re: Stomach issues

are you getting enough water? not enough could cause constpation and dark urine becuase you are dehydrated. try drinking water until your urine is clear.
