Right Remporal Lobe and Memory

Years ago I had a cyst removed from my right temporal lobe (toward the back) and since then it just seems that my abbility to stay focused is not the same. I have a tendecy to drift of and think of other things. For example the other day I rolled up the sprinkler and walked away letting it go for hours full blast. My doctor syas that area of the brain is not responisible for memory. Had a memory test and the doctor says its ok. Anybody ever experienc anything like this. Very frustrating and your help would be appreciated.

Re: Right Remporal Lobe and Memory

They really don't know allot about memory But the hippocampus (near the temporal lobe) has allot to do with memory. Go to an epilepsy board (where they often talk about memory) and ask your question.
