Talking I get unsightly purple bruises easily

I have always been very healthy but for the past several years I often wake up in the morning with large, unsightly, purplish bruises on the back of my hands and/or on my fore arms. I am now 64 years old.
Horse Chestnut is often used to help people with varicose veins. I recently tried using Horse Chestnut Extract capsules from Wonder Labs to see if it would help with the bruising. It has been two weeks now and the bruises have been gone for several days. I'm hopeful that the bruises stay away and that the Horse Chestnut has strengthened the vein walls to stop future bruising.
Has anyone else found a solution for the easy bruising that many of us elderly people have?

Re: I get unsightly purple bruises easily

I would guess that you are on coumidin a blood thinner. If this is the case that is what is causing the bruising.
