I feel dizzy and shaky, and I feel like I am going to fall over. My ears are OK. I am on a walker because of this. It's been going on for a year. What could it be?

Re: Dizzy

I hope you are age related for a walker!!I have had dizzy spells for about a year, also.
I had good luck with Meclizine, which I take daily. This has apparently why my dizziness is infrequent.I lose my balance, but I am old.I took some re-hab at our hospital. This was mostly exercises,to give me better control,if I lost my balance.I don't believe it would correct my inner ear "misbehavior".I think that the ear apparatus is co-mingled with our sense of balance. Therefore,it would be risky to monkey around in this area between the
ears.Look at a drawing of the ear/balancing function. It looks like a Rube Goldberg drawing.
Ask your Grand-daddy. (Meclizine is an anti-histimine pill.).Dramamine in my day? Bill
