Anyone know what this could be?

Alright to start off, i've been recreationally using cannabis for about 2 years. The past 2-3 months it had become a daily habit. I starting feeling a bit off sometimes, I figured it was the high amount of THC in my system. I decided to kick the habit about 2-3 weeks ago, it was easy... marijuana isn't addictive and I didn't use it as an "escape" it's just something that is always around at college but I had my fun, it was getting excessive so I dropped it.

However what I thought was because of pot, I am not so sure of now. I have a bit of a hangover type feeling, it gets more intense when I don't eat. I just feel somewhat spacey and lightheaded. I don't really notice it when I'm out and about but if I sit down by myself and have no distractions it's really prevalent. I'm not sure if there could be a recovery process from the marijuana because from what I understand, pot releases dopamine, in return your brain says "Oh I must be using this up too fast so I am going to produce more." So now perhaps the balance is off? I have no clue, It is starting to worry me a bit though. I also have insomnia, I have been sleeping 3-4 hours a day for the past week.

It seems to continue getting worse as time goes on. Any idea's at all? I have also had a much poorer diet since I went off to college I don't have real food every night. I've only been with two girls but I haven't ruled out STD's. I know syphilis can eat at the brain but that's the last step in progression. That's sort of what it feels like though, it feels like there is air between my brain and the top of my head. Nothing insane or crazy that freaks me out, just a lightheaded feeling. There are alot of factors that could play in, I just always associated it with cannabis.

I doubt it's the pot. It sounds like it could be your blood sugar, especially since it gets worse when you don't eat. You may want to see a Dr. and get a blood test. Good luck, hope you feel better!
