    Blood Test
    What exactly do blood tests analyse? Im thinking of going to my doctor and getting one as i have felt chronically fatigued for the last few months. I heard that they can measure iron levels within the blood aswell as total rbc count, but do they measure anything else? Can a blood test check for hormonal imbalances or any nutrient deficiencies? Could i also ask my doctor what my blood type is from this test?

    There are all different kinds of blood tests - some general ones, some specific ones. I think a full physical is the place to start. They will most likely do some broad spectrum blood testing such as a cbc that will test for cholesterol, blood sugar, rbc, wbc, iron, etc. They could also test for vitamin deficiences. And they can certainly test for your blood type if you would like to know that.
