From Migraine to continuous dizziness

My sixteen year old daughter has been suffering from miagraine over the last year (2012). These were sometimes so sever that she would bandage her eyes to apply pressure to block out the light. Over the last few months, she has been complaining of dizziness (even while lying down). Could this be related to the miagraine? Could she have anemia? I took her to the doctor who ordered a blood test but the resuts are not back for a couple of days and i am worried. Any ideas?

At first I thought it might be the heat but she drinks 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day.

Re: From Migraine to continuous dizziness

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's dizziness. I don't know whether the migraines are the cause but, since I have pacemaker for slow heart beat (bradycardia), I am well acquainted with dizziness. Dizziness is almost always caused by insufficient oxygen to the brain. As you noted, it might be anemia but it could be also caused by the same thing that causes the migraines. I hope not but it could be an aneuryrsm.

God Bless you and your daughter.
