Thyroid Cancer

My name is David. In sept. of 2011 I had my thyroid removed. 8 week later I had RAI 131. I was in a containment room for 3 days. Before radiation I walked approx. 3 miles a day. The night I went back to my hotel room, at approx. 11:30 PM I woke with a wave of pain that went from my head to my toes. I was rolled in a ball with the most intense pain I have ever experienced. Until this day I still have chronic pain in my back and legs. Not one of my cancer doctors will admit or acknowledge this pain. I am taking up to [email protected] loritabs a day, along with adderall, just to make it through the day.

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this. I am 61 yrs old and have lived an active life until the thyroid operation and the radiation.

Pleae let me know if anyone else have has gone through anything like this.
