    rheumatic fever

I had rheumatic fever when I was 5. I was left with a heart murmur. Over the years, it has improved drastically because i am so active. But, there are times when all of a sudden, it's like hitting a brick wall and I am so exhausted, it is debillitating and painful. Is this part of rheumatic fever syndrome?

From what I understand from friends who have this, yes, this is normal. What does your doctor suggest?

    Re: rheumatic fever

I only found out 3 days ago about this syndrome from someone who had Rheumatic Fever. Every time I mentioned what was happening to me, he gave the standard answer. Take a pill and lie down. It was important to me to find out why I was having these spells.
