Unhappy post endoscopy pain

This is my first post and am not sure if this has already been answered: I was reading thread after thread about others who suffered from discomfort, pain, shooting pains, feelings of lump... etc.. after having a Endoscopy performed. None of the threads seem to end up with a solution and I would like to know if these chest pains will finally subside or go away? It's been going on since March 6, 2014 and my family doctor is now testing my heart as he has no idea what it is even after repeated attempts to tell him it all began after my endoscopy. Are others just living with it, I mean, forever? Does anyone know what causes it? I have been having annual endoscopes for more than 10 years and this ongoing horrible pain is a first. I don't like the idea that Doctors, Hospitals, and it seems specialists are not aware of this condition and want to put it off as a multitude of other things! Why not just look into it and see that it is real and there has to be fix or make one?? Help please..
