Facial pain

I have been diagnosed with Mitochondrial Myopathy late in life. This was done by DNA testing and a muscle biopsy. I have increasing weakness in my legs, arms and face. Lately I have facial pain that feels like the scalp pain; very sharp I describe it as nerve pain. If anyone else has this have you been able to treat it at all. I will definitely bring this up with my metabolics doctor whe I see her in October. Thanks Patricia
