Either regenerative or at a minimum, preventative?

But it won't happen overnight and it will depend on how well you keep going with your regimen.

Your receding hairline is natural, *every* guy suffers from it (some earlier, some later). So don't stress over that. Its due to your body producing too much DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). This affects mainly the hair on the top of your head, but hair on the sides is not affected by it, which is why all bald men have the horse-shoe look.

So logically, how do you stop your body from producing DHT? Well, you need it, its what gives you a sex drive, libido, erections etc.

There is an oral pill you can take called Finasteride which blocks DHT in your body, BUT there is a 5% chance you can permanently suffer from erectile dysfunction. I'm pretty sure youd rather be able to get it up than have your hair.

So, the way around this is a compound called 'RU58841'. It works just like Finasteride but its applied topically (on your hairline or anywhere else). The problem is, its not an over the counter product, and its quite expensive. ($200 for 5 grams). However, you don't need to use much of it.

Here are the instructions on how to use it:

Store the compound in your freezer, as sunlight and air will deteriorate its efficacy. Make sure the RU58841 compound you buy is pure white, as ones with a yellow tint don't work.

Use 20-50mg if your applying it to a small area (receding hairlines would be a good example, you'd need more if you were to apply it to your entire head). To measure this, you'll need a small digital scale that can measure weights with up to 3 decimal places

Anyway, take the compound and put it into Isopropyl Alcohol or Everclear (basically, the higher the alcohol level, the better the efficacy of the RU mix). You'll also need a bit of polypropylene glycol to make it a little bit like glue, simply using only alcohol will make it very runny and won't work. I mix mine up in a small paint bottle the size of my thumb. A vial will work fine as well. I make a mix of 1ml in total, 75% of it is isopropyl and 25% of it is polypropylene glycol, the rest of course the small amount of RU58841 (I don't use my digital scale anymore, i just eyeball, i got used to it and dont waste time).

Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes and then apply it with an eye dropper (buy with the 1ml marking on it).

I do this once a day, typically before bed around my hairline as well. I also use Kirkland's minoxidil after work/school but I leave myself 8 hours between applications of one or the other. Kirkland's Minoxidil is basically rogaine. Rogaine WILL NOT prevent your hairline to recede, it will only speed up hair growth. However, a combination of the two work very well.

I've been doing this for about 6 months and the results have been fairly decent. Others get amazing results
Its incredible how others are doing so well with it.

Other things you will want to do are:

-use Nizoral shampoo every 2-3 days. It speeds up hair growth and also prevents dandruff
-use an l-arginine based shampoo, it helps with preventing hairloss (not a lot, but its best to take all measures)
-saw palmetto (a natural herb, also in pill form), its a DHT inhibitor like Finasteride but not as powerful (nowhere near). I use 160mg twice daily though i've noticed that my sex drive is lower, I'll probably get off the herbs. However they help greatly for your prostate.

Vitamins A and E also help a little, but don't count on them at all.

Hope this helps
