Question Propranolol and Weight Issues

I have been taking 40mg of Propranolol once a day for a few years now and was taking it together with Topamax for Migraines. I slowly came of the Topamax a few months ago as I am trying to go the route of diet, exercise, vitamins and sleep.

I have gained some weight (20-25 pds) over the past 1.5 years. I just thought it was because I am in a happy relationship, but now I'm not so sure. I have been trying EVERYTHING for 4 months now to lose weight. Working out almost every day, eating less than 1500 calories, cutting some foods out altogether. I have been more than dedicated.

Could this be the Propranolol? I have begun weaning off of it in hopes that this will kick start my metabolism.

Has anyone come off Propranolol and noticed that they lost weight quite easily after? How soon did you see a change?

Thanks for any and all info!
