Cool Dry Hair Due To Coloring.

I color my hair once a month. I use Loreal hair color. I have some gray hair, so not coloring is NOT an option for me, however my hair is dry. I know alot of you ladies color your hair, so how do you handle the dryness. Are there any products you can recommend or tips for this dry hair problem? Thanks

using a good deep conditioner 2 days before dying helps.Only dying your hair when it needs it,i.e just the roots and leave the rest alone.I know it seems wasteful but there's no need to dye hair that is already colored unless it's faded quite a bit.Using shampoo and conditoner for color treated hair will help; Salon brands are usually better.

My stylist uses "Phyto Huile D’ales intense Hydrating Oil Treatment" in my hair dye. She just puts the stuff in the hair color. This makes my hair very shiny and healthy. Try it.

Try using a hydrating shampoo/conditioner like Halo by Graham Webb or Biolage Hydrating by Matrix.

Perhaps a different line of color may be less drying.
