Exclamation Unexplainable lump on head and headaches

Hi I started having bad headaches a couple of days ago and then i felt a knot in the back lower part of my skull. What could cause that. I haven't hit my head on anything. is this normal.

If it is at the base of your skull kinda connected to your neck it is a lymph node they should be one on the other side too. They tend to swell a tad if we have a bad headache or infection having to do with the neck or head. Mine swell when I hylight my hair just an allergic reaction. If it still bothers you give the doc a call and ask him.

    Autumn.

Wow... I too have a lump on the back left side of my head. The doctor looked at it and said it's nothing, but now I'm wondering? Will reask the question and push for an answer.

    Thanks for the idea.
