    Post Toradol

Has anyone tried Toradol for Headaches. I have been getting severe headaches the past month with dizziness and stiff neck. When I call the neurologist, it is like they really don't want to deal with me. I called Monday, as my neck was so stiff and it took until Friday and my continued calls to get stuff done. They ordered and MRI and also Toradol 60 m.g three times a week.... Just wondering if anyone else has tried that.

Once when I was taken to the emergency room for a migraine they gave me an injection of toradol, it was a joke. It did nothing at all. About thirty minutes later they ended up giving me Demerol.
    Good luck,

Torodol only dulled my pain when I the kept giving it to me IV in the urgent care while there for a severe sinus infection and migraine at the same time. That was a long time ago. You mention a stiff neck so why not see a massage therapist now and have them work on your neck. Once the doc is done with all your tests if you still have the stiff neck then see a chiropractor.

I to have recieved toradol for migraines and it has done nothing and I have needed demerol or dilaudid afterward to make the ha go away. It is just like ibuprofin it is an antiinflamitory medicine. Nothing strong.

It's so amazing how differently our bodies react to meds. Toradol is my lifesaver. It doesn't work for me in tablets, but if I give myself an injection in the hip (my doc showed me how) and take Phenergan, many times it stops the migraine. In the hospital, they give me Toradol, Demerol, and Phenergan in an injection, and that works. I don't know if it will work all alone, but without it, the other stuff doesn't do anything for me.

    Best of luck finding relief.

ToraHELL gave me a panic attack once at the ER. I went in for a migrane and that was what they gave me. About 20 min went by and i was screaming and crying and begged a cleaning person to get the nurse, I felt trapped in the room and scared because i was alone. They rushed some benadryl into my IV and I calmed down but still left the ER with a migrane. From then on when someone asks what im allergic to, I say Toradol.
They told me sometimes people can react that way....but they acted like I was nuts. This was my first and only panic episode in my life.
