Need advice, and please no rude comments.

I have been suffering from migraines since I was 12 years old. I get migraines where my vision gets blurred, my hands feel strange, and sometimes I go numb, then bad bad head pain on one side, then I get nauseated and throw up until I can eventually go to sleep. The next few days is rough for me as well cause I just dont feel right. I constantly am worried and stressed about another attack comin on, I dont know what to do. I dont rake meds cause I have PFO (small hole in heart) so I stay awsy from meds as much as possible. Any non rude advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you..

I went through the same pain and numbness when I was young. Medication didnt owrk as I vomited them up. Then I tried acupuncture{needles} by a qualified therapist . Six months later and ever since, no migraines. I occasional get the aura associated with migraine, but have never had that shocking pain. Also had to stop eating, cheese, oranges, white wine and chocolate. Hope this helps. there is no pain like a migraine. Just awful.

I think the acupuncture is a good suggestion. It didn't work for me, but it is very helpful for many others. It's worth a try. Have you tried biofeedback? I can understand the stress involved with worrying about the next attack. Good luck and I hope you find a resolution soon. Keep us posted.
