    CROS vs BAHA hearing devices

I'm in the process of needing to decide which route to go with.....
The BAHA or the CROS system. I tested the BAHA at John Hopkins and it was pretty impressive. But - much to my disappointment, they didn't have a CROS system there to test.

The BAHA system (while testing) actually seemed like the sounds were coming from my bad ear. This would be GOOD for directional purposes. The doctor couldn't explain WHY it sounds like its coming from the bad ear.

Does anyone have the CROS system? I'm used to wearing a single hearing aide ....but I'm just not sure about having two bulky items hanging on both ears. Although...I'm not excited about having surgery either for the BAHA.

I know both of these are pretty rare....which makes it harder to get feedback.

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks!
