    Question Hyperacusis

Does anybody know if Hyperacusis is more likely to be caused by lower frequencies or higher frequencies. I think I read lower frequencies and that would make sense, since it is harder to tell when lower frequencies become dangerously too loud. Yes, I was a fool. Now, how long should I rest my ears and listen to nature music or pink noise? Is it possible to damage the bones or the ear permanently? I read that Hyperacusis is much better off to treat than tinnitus. I am not bothered by doors slamming, cars backfiring, gum chewing, nothing like that. Just bass. If it's not one thing, it's always something else.
