    Re: Burst eardrum

A friend of a friend had a ruptured eardrum due to an abcessed tooth. She was driving down the road one day & all this fluid came out of her ear. She had been having a slight earache. She went to the ER and they drained her ear for her, and eventually it healed I guess. Interesting that I found this cause Im having an awful earache because of my wisdom teeth. I was wondering if anybody knows how to help it. I dont go to the oral surgeon until Moday and its killing me.

As long as the eardrum didn't burst "forcefully" then within a couple months it'll heal and you should get your hearing back.

When I got hurt in the military, my left ear drum was blown out. It healed but not without damage that has me wearing bi-lateral hearing aides today.
