Jobs/Careers for the Hearing Impaired

I am new to this message board and was wondering if anyone can offer any advice about what kinds of careers would be more suitable for a hearing impaired individual. I am currently in college and am feeling like I am floundering.

Re: Jobs/Careers for the Hearing Impaired

Hi!!!! Have you always been dhh or is it more late onset? If you have always been dhh, I would suggest transferring to Galludet or NTID. Most colleges really don't have great dhh accomondations sadly. And actually NTID is really good for students who may never have been exposed to Sign, or even just aquirred/late deaf hard of hearing students. Also, both NTID and Gally have summer school intro sign courses for new signers.
