I am deaf n suffering from Tinnitus

    Hey all
I have lost my hearing and am totally deaf now. In 2012 I got a cochlear implant.
For yrs i had tinnitus but it was bearable. the past maybe 9 months or so It has increased and is driving me insane.
I sit and cry at times i am so frustrated. I am thinking the only med that may have changed is I started prozac after my mom passed away which was a yr ago june. Could this drug increase the tinnitus.
Here is what I am experiencing
    pressure in head at times.
its like i have a flap of skin in the head, when its open it allows all this noise in. trains planes water music buzzing clicking about 4 different sounds at the same time, at about a level that makes me want to jump off my balcony or get s gun and shoot my head. I say its level 15. (this is for my own personal records)
to me a 3 is bearable.
then this flap will close and things go back to level 3.
Seems when it is bad I cannot even wear my cochlear implant, i cant stand the sound.
I have monitored food intake, dont drink coffee or tea, dont drink pop.
so what could be causing this . and to this extent.
I am even wondering if its caused by the implant.
If so if I had it removed would the noise go back to just being at my 3 level. Bearable.
HELP...before I jump off the balcony!!
