What about this?
I have afif. I took a chemical stress six months ago was told I did well. In fact I was told my ef was 70. The year before it was 35 I was told. At that time I was given a cath and had minimal blockage except for 50% in one spot. My pacemaker was going out also when my EF was 35. I don't know if there was any correlation there or not.

My new doctor that gave me the chemical stress test six months ago put me on a treadmill walking program. He told me he wanted me up to 3mph for 15 minutes by the next time he saw me. I am to the point that my warm up period of walking is 5 minutes before I hit the 2.8 mph.
I have been doing well, except when I jumped from 2.7 - 2.8 mph at 2.8 I began having pain in my left triceps. When I am through it goes away pretty quickly. I never have any problem with breathing. I have notice at night crackling that my PC told me was phlegm in my throat.

Anyway none of the rest of my arm aches. Have you ever heard of anything like this before? If it were my entire arm I would call him in a second, but just my tricep on the left arm seems rather weird. Thanks for any advice. - sam

What happens if you drop back down to 2.7 right when it starts to hurt as compared to if you keep it at 2.8?

The fact that it goes away pretty quickly when you stop is concerning. I don't know whether it's something that would need immediate attention or not. It would be nice if you were being monitored at the time so that maybe if something was going on it would show up on a tape.
