safe decongestion for SVT?

Does anyone know of a safe decongestion that can be taken and not cause SVT or flutters to be worsened?

Hmmmm.... I'm not sure
I have constant tachycardia and cannot have any type of decongestant, which sucks
I have heard that there is a type of Tylenol cold liquid thing that some people with SVT use. It's red. I'm sorry, I don't know the exact name of it

I don't know of one. Try using those saline nasal sprays. There shouldn't be anything weird in them.

Re: safe decongestion for SVT?

I refuse to take ANY decongestant or anything with a stimulant and I ALWAYS ask the pharmacist!! LOL. I do have a problem with sinus/allergy/headache issues. So I finally went to an allergist. I am on Nasacort and Zyrtec and my sinus troubles have pretty much ceased!

If it is a cold you have, I say do the following and tough it out:

Hot steamy baths
Vapo Rub
Hot compresses
Saline (make sure it is saline only) nasal spray
Drink A LOT of water/decaf tea
