Question Heart scan

Can someone please tell me what they will be able to tell from a heart scan.I have been having very scary heart episodes where one minute my heart is 150 bpm or more then as low as 49bpm also very lightheded . thanks for any info blonco33

Sounds like you need a holter monitor ( records your electrical activity). A scan will only see the structure of the heart and will not monitor the heart beat itself.
Could be Sick Sinus Syndrome ("brady-tachy arrythmia).
