I can't feel my heartbeat

I was sleeping last night when I had woken up feeling a bit dizzy. My chest felt weird so I put my hand on it but I couldn't feel my heart beat. I tried to check my pulse but it was so weak, I couldn't really get it. This feeling is really uncomfortable.
And I keep getting this fluttering feeling on the left side of my chest.
I've had problems with my heart before... like palpitations.. and I've had chest pains..
I've gotten an ultra sound and an EKG done before and nothing was wrong.
Does anyone know why I feel like this?

Low Blood pressure perhaps. Happens to me, I'm on a Beta Blocker.
