Rapid Heart rate long after excercising

I been having a problem with rapid heart rate after excercising. My resting heart rate is about 60-65 beats per minute. But after I excercise (about 1 1/2 hours of playing hockey) or (1/2 hour on treadmill), my heartrate will be at about 100-110 beats per minute. It will take about 3-4 hours for my heart rate to return back to 60-65. Is this normal?

I am in decent physical shape. I do have about 30 lbs to lose. I am 42 years old. I have had a stress test and nothing was found. I have a normal blood pressure. I do not eat a lot of sodium or drink a lot of caffiene. I do not smoke or drink. Please let me know if you have experienced anything like this.

Thanks,
Bob
