Re: my heart is beating too fast

There are many irritants that can agitate the heart and cause rapid or irregular heartbeats. I avoid the obvious irritants, which greatly improves my problems with rapid or irregular heartbeats.

Do you smoke? Are you around smokers at home or in closed areas?

Do you have Allergies, Asthma?

Are you overweight?

Any known health problems?

Do you use any drugs, either legal or illegal?
⇒ Avoid unhealthy chemicals,odors,irritants
⇒ 6 low cal meals 1500 cals; weights
⇒ 6.25 coreg;.125 digoxin
⇒ 2002 BP was 151/96; readings:1,423
⇒ From 2008-2017 BP was 119/69; readings:7,514

Re: my heart is beating too fast

How fast is fast? 100 - 130 is probably sinus tachycardia. 160 - 220 or so an SVT. If you are concerned that it is "really" fast go to an ER and get an EKG run. Does it start with one thump and instantly race like crazy? That would be an SVT. If it's just a bit fast and gradually increases probably not an SVT, sinus tachycardia and that could be caused by drugs, anxiety, heart disease and many other factors. SVT's in most cases start and end abruptly (before my ablation I had those for 20 years). If it's new to you and persists see a cardiologist and get a diagnosis. Without an EKG (which is better to get when it is acting up or racing or when you at least think it is racing) you can't diagnose yourself or have any of us that are very familiar with heart rhythm problems do it. Even a doctor on here couldn't do it without an EKG or other heart tests.
