Staph infection after bypass surgery

Hello I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this problem. My father in law has contracted staph aureus after having 5 bypass surgery. They took out his sternum and it was positive for staph as well as the blood cultures. They treated him for 6 weeks with ancef and 2 days after he was removed from it he had a 104 degree fever. We took him to the hospital and now he has staph AGAIN! <IMG SRC=""> WE are outraged and very angry that they are not treating it more aggressively. COuld someone please tell me if he should have been on it for 3 months or longer? I heard that is the standard . PLEASE HELP !!!
