Legs looking like fish scales ? Anyone else doing this ? Please reply

I recently noticed that from my knees down to my ankles look like fish scales.
They have been very dry for sometime.
I have to use alot of lotion.
    But this looks weird?
    Anyone else with this problem?
    Please advise.

Have you been in the sun alot? Winter time is always the worse as far as dry scaley skin goes. I read for us heppers to use a loofa sponge and get the dead scales off. Our skin is an organ, too. So keeping the toxins off and letting our skin breathe better is another good extra measure. It makes sense and it sure makes me feel better. Dry skin and brittle hair have always been a battle for me..... <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif">

my legs also are dry and scaley. as are my arms, back and belly. i belive the weather has much to do, winter time always brings out the dry skin. my dr. advised me to keep drinking plenty of water, and i use lubriderm lotion. many others have alcohol in the ingredients. as the other reply states, using one of those fluffy bath scrubbers to remove the dead skin is a good idea also

Mt brother has the exact same thing. He's had Hep C for 30 years but this is the first year for scaly skin. He's not on treatment yet though.-
