Better get this seen. It could be Stevens-Johnson syndrome which can get infected, cause hospitalization, can spread to the eyes and possibly cause blindness or even death. It is very serious. This syndrome is directly related to medications. Take care and get this looked at. Research Stevens-Johnson syndrome for more details and pictures. This is a common side effect of HCV medications.

You are most welcome. We need to stick together and help provide useful information to the benefit of all. Research is the key, the more you do the more armed you are to face the trails of HCV. There is much research being done today, HCV is a very popular theme of current research. I guess it is good to have a condition that is popular with the researchers. LOL From my research many many of the new trails have in there title "non-interferon" which indicates they know there is a problem with the therapy. It is the best right now but my hope is that they figure out something better. Be Blessed

My husband has Hep c and stage 4 Chrissos. He maintains lots of fluid in his legs and gets venus sores on them. Goes to wound clinc twice a week. they say it is caused from the hep c. They get kind of raw and blisterly looking. But hasn't had any rash. Hope it gets better for you. He does itch alot.
