    inguinal hernia

    67 year old male
i have been managing my inguinal hernia myself without doctor care for about a year and a half. yesterday i twisted my lower back while doing a routine task outside. It felt more like a sudden 'twisting and growing knot' and had put me on my knees for a few minutes before struggling to get up and walking slowly back to the house. Today is a tiny bit better but was wondering if others have had an experience like this or have knowledge about whether this could be related to the hernia. thanks for any input. Richard
