Does this sound like acute retroviral syndrome?

I've been clear of all STD's my whole life. But I had unprotected vaginal sex with a man who I know nothing about. One month later, I got back with my ex boyfriend and had sex the first day we got back together. About two and a half weeks later, we both came down with symptoms of the common cold (sore throat, runny nose, fever, tiredness) no rash, ulcers or swollen lymph nodes, and it lasted the length of a typical cold- 2 days.

Most websites say that if you do catch HIV and develop acute retroviral syndrome it is usually a few days- 2 weeks after, and no more than six. Some websites say it usually lasts a week, or it can stay for a few weeks. Ours lasted 2 days.

Is it unlikely if we both got the acute retroviral syndrome we would get sick at the exact same time, even though I was exposed one month before him?

Is it most likely we both caught the cold from each other?

We don't discuss symptoms here.

You had a minuscule risk. Test at 3 months and move on with your life.
