I agree that it should be like 400 to 800 but I guess there are too many factors that stop this.

I agree that the range is far too big but I guess it depends on the individual. Some people feel fine at 350 but I hard to believe. I guess if I was loaded with cash and did not need to work, I might feel fine T 400. However, my fasting blood sugar levels tended to be around 100 when my T was 400. Since I kicked started the levels with clomid, they dropped.

I am off to the hospital in 20 minutes to get the total T test.

I retired early with enough money to pay my bills so I am happy. I'm not sure your total T has any thing to do with your glucose levels. My glucose is normally around 100 but the last lab I had it was 92. I know they say to keep it under 100 but the low 100s is OK too. The new drug Androxal looks very promising so if my T goes below 300 I might give it a try when it gets approved if it isn't too expensive. They are hoping for approval sometime in 2016.

My testosterone is still too high. 1530. The half life of Clomid is still in me and needless to say, I won't ever take Clomid again. It will take another week for it to leave my system.

That is surprising it is still that high. Your energy level should be peaked too. Clomid really worked in your case, maybe too good.

Yes, it worked too good and that is a problem. I cannot have my balls working that hard. I am packed with energy and have been lifting weights x 2 a day. My body has totally firmed up all over and my chest is solid again. I used to be very big so I can get a saggy chest if I get soft. My Thai wife is brutally honest with me so she says I am looking strong again. My self-esteem is much better.

Once I settle down to a normal level, I am going to take Tongkat Ali. It is an Indonesian Root and clinical studies have proven that raises testosterone levels on average of 37%.

I kind of miss that feeling however being normal and in range gives a certain type of stability too.

I agree Ken. Being in the normal range is comfortable and nice. Sadly, I am in a high pressure job where I need to perform and I live overseas. Honestly, there is a side of me that would love to go back to eating whatever I want, drinking 4 beers a day, and exercising every so often. Unfortunately, that lifestyle almost got me fired because I lost focus. I cannot afford to go down to 400 in my T levels. At work, I feel anxious and vulnerable.

I did research on tongkat ali and it looks promising but it works for some but not for everyone depending on which article you read. I had a lot of pressure in my job too but not anymore. If you don't mine me asking Neenus, how old are you? At what age to you plan to retire? What do you think about tongkat ali and where do you think the best place to buy it? It is pretty expensive on ******?

    Ken,

I am 50. I would like to retire at 56 but it is looking more like I will retire at 62.

Regarding Tongkat Ali, I spent the last 3 days researching it myself and it looks very hard to distinguish the real stuff from the fake stuff. I live in Thailand that borders with Malaysia so we are right near the actual trees. I kept digging and I found an old herbal specialist who lives about 3 kilometers from me. He has been dealing with Tongkat Ali for 30 years. He harvests the plants himself. Funny thing is he said he has never seen black tongkat ali and if you search around the Internet, there are "experts" saying tongkat ali should be black if it is original. My guy asked me if I had any black tongkat ali so he could test it in his lab. He was dumfounded.

So my guy sells it in bulk (2.2 pounds) but he said I could buy as much or a little as I want. He agreed to sell me 3/4 pound of the strongest extract for $60. He said I just take a small bit each day (less than a gram). I need to get that measurement down with him when I go see him in the next few days.

So that 3/4 of a pound will last me a long, long time. I'm going to start it right away.

I got it and responded. I see you gave me a lot of information. Don't you think you should wait until your T comes down first before you try it?

Testosterone level is probably the most over emphasized test a man can take. DHEA test.'s parent hormone is IMO much more important. Elevating a 40yr+ man's DHEA level to a 21yr old's level can make vast improvements. So few physicians know a damn thing about DHEA since they're not taught a/thing about it because its OTC & as such the AMA as no financial interest. All exogenous TRT does is cause endogenous suppression which explains the ambulance chaser's tv commercials.
